Mask secrets before you hit send.

Offsend is a free, open-source, local-first browser extension that helps prevent sensitive data from being accidentally sent to AI chats.
It works with ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. When you write or paste a prompt, Offsend checks it locally in your browser before it is submitted.
If it detects API keys, tokens, private keys, emails, phone numbers, IDs, card-like values, or other sensitive data, you can mask the values, send anyway, or cancel.
Masked values are replaced with readable placeholders like {{API_KEY_1}} or {{EMAIL_1}}, so your prompt still makes sense without exposing the original data.
Offsend is built for developers, founders, and teams who often paste logs, configs, API responses, code snippets, or client data into AI tools.
Prompt content is not uploaded for scanning. There is no server-side analysis and no account required.
The extension is open source, so anyone can review the code and permissions.
