CronWatch is a language-agnostic cron monitoring library that records every scheduled job run directly into your own database, so you never lose visibility when a task fails, stalls, or quietly stops running. Instead of relying on an external dashboard or hosted endpoint, CronWatch lives inside your codebase and mounts a lightweight UI at /cronwatch for instant, in-context observability.
Integrate CronWatch through first-class SDKs for TypeScript, Ruby, Python, PHP, Go, Rust, Elixir, Java, and .NET, or via plugins for WordPress, Drupal, and Craft CMS. Each run is tracked with duration, status, and cost, while missed, late, or stuck executions are highlighted visually and surfaced through alerts.
CronWatch alerts carry the error details and tail of job output to the notification channels you choose, with optional AI triage through Anthropic for faster diagnosis. Because it is MIT-licensed and runs as a library, there is no separate account, no external storage, and no extra server to maintain—your run history remains fully under your control.
Use CronWatch to tighten reliability for critical scheduled tasks like backups, email digests, and embeddings refreshes, and to enforce time and cost budgets on recurring jobs. With the timeline-style dashboard, you immediately see the gap between when a job was due and what actually ran, turning silent cron failures into visible, actionable incidents.
