Learn the terminal like a game in the browser

What it is
WebTerm Learn is a learning platform for the Linux command line, Git and Vim. Each lesson starts you in a prepared environment (files, permissions, a Git repository) inside a simulated Linux terminal in the browser. You type real commands, and the exercise is checked against the resulting state rather than the exact command, so git switch -c and git checkout -b both pass.
Courses
Terminal (introduction, fundamentals, advanced, plus drills), Git (introduction, fundamentals, plus drills, covering commits, branches, merges, rebase, stash, cherry-pick, conflicts and pull requests against a simulated remote), Vim, and a terminal multiplexer for coding agents. Progress is shown on a 3D adventure map.
Under the hood
A TypeScript command engine with a virtual filesystem, a Git implementation that models objects, refs, the index and the working tree, and a Vim engine patched to match real Vim.
Pricing
Everything is free. The first lesson of each course works without an account; a free account saves progress. Desktop browsers only.
