Multistream to all Platforms at once

- supporters
I dropped out of college in my final year of engineering and started freelancing. For two years I built software for clients, but I always wanted to build a product of my own. Something I could shape end to end and improve over time with real users.
This month I started building Neustream. The goal is to make livestreaming easier. One stream that goes to every platform, with all chats in one place. No switching between dashboards or dealing with complicated setups.
I gave myself fourteen days to get the core working. Day one was a working 1080p stream with authentication and basic RTMP handling. In the next few days I rebuilt the media system using MediaMTX so it could scale. I added support for multiple streams in one account, fixed login issues, and created a dashboard to monitor everything.
The hardest part was unified chat. YouTube chat required a complete rewrite once I discovered their gRPC interface. But eventually it worked well enough to keep.
The final days were about approvals, security fixes, and practical features like OBS support. On October 31st, fourteen days after the first commit, Neustream went live.
There is a lot more to build, including better overlays, payments, and new platform integrations. But the core idea is working. You go live once and everything else stays in sync.
