Storage Donut is a proper file-manager interface for storage you already own. Connect your own S3-compatible bucket (Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, Hetzner, AWS S3, or self-hosted MinIO) and get previews, search, sharing, galleries, Markdown editing, and media streaming on top of it, without giving up control of where your files actually live.

If you'd rather not manage your own storage at all, there's also Donut Storage, a managed option built in, so you can start using it in minutes with no bucket to set up.

I built it because I was spending more time interacting with buckets than actually using my files. It's still early. I'm looking for people who already use R2, S3, or similar to try it and tell me honestly what's missing or broken.
