Markitdown Online is an independent browser-based converter inspired by Microsoft's open-source MarkItDown project. It converts common documents, spreadsheets, presentations, web pages, structured data, notebooks, public URLs, pasted tables, and PNG/JPG/WebP images through OCR into clean, structured Markdown. The output is useful for AI prompts, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge bases, documentation, search indexing, and Git-based editing. The free tier supports up to 3 files per batch and 20MB files; Pro adds larger files, 30-file batches, more saved results, and higher OCR limits.
