I built FeedZombie as a personal experiment in my homelab, part DevOps test, part Rails playground, and part love letter to RSS. I wanted something lightweight, private, and fun: no tracking, no data hoarding, just cached feeds that vanish when they expire. It’s rough around the edges, but that’s the point. A simple reader that emails you digests on your schedule, and nothing more. If you pay, it’s only to cover the cost of sending email.
