0cred has two sides: professionals and businesses.

Professionals can use 0cred as described above, to validate their work and share it with the world and potential employers.

Businesses can use 0cred with their existing job platform of choice like LinkedIn and others, to have their applicants verify their work through our platform. They can also host the job posting on our platform.

We currently only support validating tech projects, but we have an Proof of Concept for Design verification (for designers) and Social Media work verification (for social media managers) working. We also plan to expand past these.

Another thing worth mentioning: Though the tech talent pool and demand for engineers both keep growing, they rarely connect. Every job opening attracts hundreds or even thousands of applicants, yet:

• Most lack the specific skills required
• Many embellish or misstate their experience
• Only a small fraction can actually demonstrate their abilities in a real interview
• Some resort to outsourced help or AI to cheat the process

The result? Employers are overwhelmed by volume but underwhelmed by quality, and honest engineers get lost in the noise.

This is all in all a super complex problem. Its only limited to the tech market right now because people in tech are generally quick to find ways to use new tools to their advantage, but this problem will surely spread to other markets.

We want 0cred to provide a reliable way for employers to find honest, hard working engineers, and for engineers to find refuge from the artificial competition of bot-networks and dishonest con men.
