What to expect from an ideal product
- Biotadex is a free app for iPhone and Android that turns any walk outside into a nature collecting game by letting you photograph plants, animals, fungi and birds and identify them in seconds.
- Every species you photograph gets added to your personal field guide, building a real record of what you have found and where.
- Numbered nature stickers are earned by visiting crates shown on the Biotadex map, giving you a reason to explore new outdoor spots nearby.
- Duplicate stickers can be traded with other Biotadex users, so collecting becomes a social activity rather than a solo one.
- Biotadex works for complete beginners because the identification step is built in, meaning you do not need to already know what you are looking at to start playing.
