Each time a link-in-bio service closes, the people using it have to rebuild their page somewhere else and change the link in every bio. Bento closed on 13 February 2026, after Linktree bought it.

linkring is my answer to that, as one person running a small paid product. Your page is a static HTML file under 10 KB, served from a CDN, with no script on it. You can export it at any time, as JSON in a documented format or as the files themselves, and those files work on any static host.

If you stop paying, the page stays published and the domain keeps resolving, with no time limit, while the editor goes read-only until you return. If linkring ever has to close, you get 90 days' notice and the export works throughout.

I'd like to hear what a link page needs that this one doesn't have.
