I'm Radu, and I want to introduce you to Yappa, my new productivity platform designed specifically for freelancers.
This year, I found myself juggling up to 4 clients simultaneously. While I wasn't overemployed, managing multiple clients and projects was a challenge. I needed tools to help me with issues like:
Time tracking: I bill by the hour and want to be transparent with my clients. Keeping detailed records of each activity is crucial for creating accurate timesheets for billing.
Calendar synchronization: Each client used a separate Google or Microsoft account, so no one could see my actual availability when they wanted to book a meeting with me. This led to either receiving invites and having to reschedule or coordinating via chat beforehand.
New business: I often received messages from people interested in working with me, followed by coordinating an intro call. To speed things up, I wanted to use a booking link and let them schedule an intro call right away. This helped many times, but without a solution to the calendar synchronization issue, clients could choose times when I wasn't actually available.
So, in July, I decided it was time to take a break from working for others to solve these problems in a single package with a fair price. That's how Yappa, the productivity tool for freelancers, was born.
