A free Islamic companion app — prayer times, Qibla, 200+ duas. No ads, no login.

The name itself carries the app's philosophy. Sabr — patience, steadfastness, quiet endurance — is one of the most repeated concepts in the Quran, and it's the lens SabrTime is built through: worship not as a checklist to rush through, but as something to return to steadily, one prayer and one moment at a time. The Problem It's Solving Most Islamic apps fall into one of two categories. The first is ad-heavy and cluttered — prayer times buried under banner ads, notifications that exist to drive engagement rather than serve the user, and a business model built on attention rather than utility. The second requires an account before anything useful happens — email, password, sometimes even phone verification, just to check today's prayer times or find the Qibla direction. SabrTime was built as a direct response to both patterns. The founding principle is simple: core worship features should never be paywalled, should never carry ads, and should never require a login to use. If someone opens SabrTime for the first time needing to know which way to face for Maghrib, they should get an answer in seconds — not after creating an account, not after dismissing a popup, not after watching an ad. This isn't a growth-hack framed as minimalism. It's a genuine bet that a tool built around trust and utility, rather than engagement metrics, is worth building even if it's slower to monetize. SabrTime doesn't run third-party advertising, doesn't use tracking pixels, doesn't sell user data, and stores most of what a user does — their streaks, their tasbeeh counts, their saved duas — locally on their own device rather than on a server. Where the app does accept support, it's structured as optional donations and an optional Pro tier for extra personalization, never as a toll on the basics.
