MyChatExport exports a single ChatGPT conversation to Markdown or PDF, generated entirely inside your browser.

A long ChatGPT thread is never fully on screen at once, so anything that copies what is visible hands you a shortened file with no warning. MyChatExport requests the conversation you have open and works from the full message list instead.

Markdown keeps headings, lists, tables, quotes and fenced code blocks, so it drops straight into Obsidian, Notion or a git repo. PDF goes through Chrome's own print engine - searchable, images embedded, no watermark on any tier.

Every export ends with a line such as "Exported 4 messages (complete)." A failed export does not consume your daily allowance. Scope is deliberately small: it only ever touches the one conversation you have open.
