Hyper-practical marketing resources to grow your startup
- supporters
Hey everyone! š
After seeing so many fellow founders struggle to grow their projects, Iāve decided to collect the best marketing guides and examples in a GitHub repo.
Long story short, I've been trying my luck on a few side projects and playing with marketing for the past few years.
Most of the products we all know and love (like Tally, Posthog, Simple Analytics) followed the same playbook. Start with $0 marketing (launches, cold outreach, SEO) and later scale with Ads, influencers and referrals.
In short, you donāt need to be a marketing genius, just a few directions and a ton of hard work and perseverance.
And yes, I know, thereās already a lot of advice out there, but most of the time it's about scaling some VC-funded startup with a big marketing budget to $1,000,000 ARR and 100,000 users.
Inspirational? Sure. Actionable? Not really.
Thatās why Iām trying to keep Marketing for Founder as practical as it gets (spoiler: itās hard since thereās no one-size-fits-all) and list everything in order so you can have a playbook to follow.
Enjoy and leave it a star ā if you find it useful!
PS. Iād love to have your feedback. Did you find it helpful? Is there anything important I missed? Let me know in the comments!
