Offline password & secrets vault — no cloud, no account
LocnLock is a local-first, offline vault for passwords, secure notes, encrypted files, certificates, and developer config — no cloud, no account, no backend, no license server. Everything lives in a single AES-256-GCM encrypted SQLite file on your own machine. It uses envelope encryption plus an offline Recovery Key generated at setup, so there's no "email support to reset" path — and no backdoor either. Built with Tauri 2 + Rust. Live now on the Microsoft Store; macOS support is planned next.

What does LocnLock help with?
Why I built this: I wanted a password manager with zero trust required beyond my own machine — no company holding my vault, no subscription tied to a server staying up, no account that can leak.
What's inside:
- Passwords, secure notes, encrypted files & certificates, per-project dev config/env vars
- Envelope encryption: a random vault key wrapped by your password — changing your master password re-wraps the key instead of re-encrypting every record
- An offline Recovery Key generated at setup — the only recovery path if you forget your password. No backdoor, no "contact support to reset."

Stack: Tauri 2 + Rust (crypto & storage), React 19 (UI). Windows is live on the Microsoft Store now; macOS is planned once there's more signal.
