EliteBooks is bookkeeping and invoicing built for one-person businesses in the United States and Canada.

Invoicing, quotes, expenses, vendors, time tracking and a customer portal are free permanently — not a trial with a timer, and no card is required to start. Underneath them is a real double-entry ledger, so the profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, general ledger and trial balance are produced from actual entries rather than estimated from a list.

Card and bank payments settle into your own Stripe account, never ours. Bank connections are read-only through Plaid, and transactions arrive already categorised from your own history rather than from generic rules. Receipts forwarded by email or sent to a Telegram bot come back as drafted bills.

The paid plan covers only the parts that carry a real per-user cost to run: bank feeds, AI receipt scanning, automated reminders and recurring invoice sending.

Sales tax tracking, 1099-NEC contractor tracking and a US chart of accounts are included, because the product was built for that market rather than adapted to it.
