clypy is a universal, end-to-end encrypted clipboard manager. Everything you copy on any device is available on all of them, searchable by meaning rather than exact text. Clips are encrypted on the device that copied them, so what travels between your machines is ciphertext that Clypy cannot read. Devices sync directly over your local network when they are nearby, and through an encrypted relay when they are not. Search is semantic and runs on-device, so “that link Sarah sent about pricing” can find a clip without you remembering the exact words. Screenshots are processed with on-device OCR and become searchable by the text inside them. The free tier provides unlimited local clipboard history without requiring an account. Pro adds cross-device sync and costs $29.99 as a one-time purchase. It can be activated on all of your own devices, with no subscription or per-device fee. Clypy is currently available for macOS, Windows and Linux. The iOS and Android apps have been submitted and are awaiting store review.
