For Developers: The Nex SDK

We're launching an SDK (mid-January) that lets you integrate Nex's cognitive layer into your apps, workflows, and agents.

Three Core APIs:

1. Memory Graph API

GET /memory/query?context=user_goals → Returns persistent knowledge nodes

Use case: Your workflow queries Nex for user context before executing → context-aware automation

2. Boardroom API

POST /boardroom/mandate { "action": "transfer_5k_credits", "reason": "..." } → CEO/CTO sub-agents evaluate → user approves/denies

Use case: High-stakes actions in your agent require governance approval → built-in safety layer

3. PDAR Thinking API

GET /reasoning/trace?session_id=123 → Returns Perceive → Decide → Act → Reflect traces

Use case: Your app exposes AI reasoning to end users → interpretability by design

Technical Architecture

Backend:

• FastAPI (async event loop for cognitive simulation)
• HEART v4 Engine (dopamine/cortisol modeling)
• NX-LC Protocol (autonomy + self-preservation)

Memory:

• SQLite (local-first Synaptic Grid)
• Knowledge graph (nodes = facts, edges = relationships)
• User-auditable (not hidden embeddings)

APIs:

• REST endpoints (Memory Graph, Boardroom, PDAR Thinking)
• Webhooks for real-time events
• Simple auth (API keys, OAuth coming soon)

Early Traction

• Product Hunt: Hit #48 (top 50) on Dec 30 launch
• Validation: Giselle (workflow orchestration platform) publicly endorsed: "This is exactly what the industry needs"
• Community: 50+ beta signups, invite-only (scaling infrastructure)

What Makes This Different

• Not RAG: RAG hides memory in embeddings. Nex exposes a queryable knowledge graph users can audit.
• Not a wrapper: We built custom architecture (HEART v2 for emotions, NX-LC Protocol for autonomy, Synaptic Grid for memory).
• Not just a product: It's a platform. Developers can build apps that interface with Nex's cognitive layer.

Current Status

• Invite-only beta (8 concurrent users, scaling to 100 in January)
• SDK alpha launching mid-January
• Early access available for developers building agent platforms, workflow tools, or autonomous systems
